Indianapolis, Indiana - COLD SHOT was originally released Summer of 2014 but sold out within a short couple of months. After countless requests, this title is being repressed with FOUR bonus tracks, brilliantly remastered by none other than Rob Colwell of Bombworks Sound, as well as an ALL-new, amazing booklet that dives deep into the bands history with mostly never seen photos.
These recordings feature explosive, chock full of balls-out attitude, and infectious commercial hooks and eventually led to a record deal in early 1992 by Senior VP/A&R Aaron Jacoves of Virgin Records that never came to fruition. Included is crowd favorite “It’s Your Thing,” originally written & performed by the Isley Brothers. “Juicy Lucy” and “Higher” were recorded for the soundtrack to Brad Pitt’s first indie film, “Across the Tracks.” “Higher” was co-written with Carlos Cavazo of Quiet Riot fame. “No Time” was recorded live at FM Station for the ‘Pure Rock Search ‘90 Vol. 1’ compilation, with proceeds benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Foundation, Children of the Night.
The late Mark Eisenstein produced the album, as well as Russ Castillo, who was one of the engineers on Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” and Gary Ferguson, an A-list drummer who played for Stevie Nicks, Glenn Hughes, and John Norum, just to name a few.
This is a must have for fans of Motley Crue, BulletBoys, and Roxy Blue.
