Indianapolis, Indiana – Eonian Records is pleased to announce the debut release by Los Angeles rockers COLD SHOT, produced and engineered by Mark Eisenstein and Russ Castillo who was one of the engineers who worked on Pink Floyd ‘The Wall.’ The COLD SHOT album release party and show will be hosted Palladino’s, Tarzana, CA, on July 25th, where the CD will be available for first time purchase.
Like so many hard rock acts, COLD SHOT was formed in the seething cauldron of excess and decadence that was the L.A. metal scene in 1988. Now, nearly 20 years after the band laid down their metaphorical guns, their music is being reloaded and ready to roar once again. Yeah, that’s right - COLD SHOT is getting ready to take another shot. Turn the stereo up and prepare to feel the impact as COLD SHOT nails a hard rock bulls-eye right between your ears.
In 1991, guitarist Anthony Gallo collaborated with friend Carlos Cavazo of Quiet Riot fame for an American independent film entitled "Across the Tracks" (written and directed by Sandy Tung), for the song "Higher," produced by Mark T. Eisenstein, Russ Castillo (Pink Floyd), and Gary Ferguson (drummer for Eddie Money). It starred Brad Pitt and Rick Schroder. COLD SHOT also wrote and recorded a second song “Juicy Lucy” for the Indie Film. Both “Higher” and “Juicy Lucy” are included on the debut album.
Cold Shot is: Adam Murray on vocals, Anthony Gallo on guitars, Erin Bartley on bass and Rikki Baggett on Drums
Track-listing: Juicy Lucy, Foolish Pride, Cold Shot, No Time, Gimme What I Need, Mine All Mine, Heart Of The City, Long Legs, Captured, Without Your Love, Higher.
COLD SHOT “Self-Titled” will be available on August 26, 2014 through select CD retailers and iTunes, as well as through www.EonianRecords.com.
